From Industrias TAYG, we express our deepest condolences to the families of those who died due to the meteorological phenomena that occurred in our area as well as our deepest solidarity with those affected. Fortunately, we have no human tragedies of our own to mourn; however, we have all suffered to a greater or lesser extent following the effects of this devastating flood.
We would like to thank our customers, suppliers and external collaborators for all the displays of support and solidarity we have received, as well as all those caring people who have appeared to help those most in need.
Our site and its access points have suffered serious damage. At this time, we are still unable to prepare or send orders.
Since we were able to enter the site, the following recovery plans have been implemented:
- Cleaning and preparation of the MANUFACTURING and MOULDS area.
- Complete cleaning and preparation of one WAREHOUSE and partial cleaning of two more.
- Start-up of the company's IT SYSTEMS.
- Partial cleaning and preparation of the LOCKER ROOMS and OFFICES.
The following actions still need to be done:
- Inspection of the machinery after drying, especially the moulds and injection moulding machines. Obtaining the necessary spare parts, ensuring they pass the relevant safety controls and starting them up; focusing on those with the greatest manufacturing versatility.
- At the same time, inventory of products in stock and those that can be sold.
- Preparation of current orders, prioritising those with material in stock. Please note that your orders may be partially delivered.
- Coordination with shipping agencies for deliveries. Please note that many others have also been affected, and communications with the area are still restricted.
- A communications plan and updates will be provided as soon as we have relevant information.
Finally, our deepest thanks to all of those who have come to the company to carry out cleaning and preparation work.
