The strategic cooperation project "Prevention of nosocomial infections through the development of hybrid bacteriostatic and/or bactericidal materials for healthcare furniture" (MOBACT), in which TAYG is collaborating, aims to develop clinical furniture capable of mitigating viral contagions and bacterial infections by contributing to the creation of a sterile, bacteriostatic and bactericidal general working environment.
The present developments on plastic materials will enable TAYG and its partners to launch a new range of products on the market that will provide a solution for many of the everyday items used in the hospital environment, with the aim of reducing the number of infections in this area due to cross-contamination of materials, tools, etc.
